Yesterday was quite the eventful day for Kourtney! Not only was it her birthday, but she was also Star Student of the Day. She presented a number of pictures to her class that represented her interests and a picture timberline of jet life. Then she answered about a dozen questions jet piers asked her. Kourtney did a great job!
After school Kourtney and Alyson had Girls On the Run for the first time. While they were there, Kris had organized for Mom, Dad, the rest of the little kiddos and I to go over to some friend's house who had a pool and decorate it for a family party.
After Grls On the Run ended, Kris brought Aly and Koco over to be with us where he proceeded to pick up Koco in his arms and throw her into the pool blind folded and everything! She came up out of the water so surprised and happy.
We ate pizza and cake and ice cream. Then we swam and had a great time playing in the pool. Then Kourtney opened her presents. She received very thoughtful gifts including a new CD of songs from the library that Mom and Kourtney have been listening to at night, some hair accessories to use for hairstyles found in a book she borrowed from the library as well all from Nana and Papa and an American Girl Doll I bought at the Benifit Sale for $35 in addition to a couple of Samantha boyouoks and an outfit for her doll from Kris meand me. Alyson also purchased a bouncy ball set for her sister that she purchased with her own money. Thoughtful gifts all around. And what a terrific day all around as well!
Kourtney, we hope you know what a special girl you are! You are a one of a kind person with a loving heart and a wonderful personality. You bring our family such joy and happiness. Thank you for the piggy noses you give me just before bed time almost every night. We want you to know you are loved very much and we would do anything for you. Happy 9th birthday. We hope you have a fantastic year!
