Today's Outing

The girls and I set out on an adventure today. We filled a basket full of drinks and food for Kris at his office and made a separate lunch for us then rode the CATA bus onto Michigan State University campus. The weight of our backpack off-set Ellary who was situated on my chest in the snugly. Alyson and Kourtney shared the responsibility of wheeling the basket around in the umbrella stroller. The walk to the bus stop is only about three minutes, and during the school year it runs every 20 minutes. It's Kris' transportation of choice to school thus far.

We took Kris' goodies to school where we saw him briefly (he had a seminar to get to) and then the girls and I had our lunch by the the Red Cedar River that runs through campus. I couldn't resist taking pictures of the girls at our picnic spot.

We then placed Ellary in the stroller and walked down to the 4-H Children's Garden. It was very beautiful. Alyson liked looking at the flowers and smelling them. Koco preferred the water fountain and Ellary slept through it all.

We returned home on the bus after a few hours on campus. We can't wait to explore more places in the new town we live in!
